At HolisticPainTherapy, we use a comprehensive approach developed through professional training and over 17 years of experience to support people with chronic and AcutePain. This therapy has helped many clients who have explored numerous other treatment options.
Unfortunately, there is no "one size fits all" answer. However, many clients experience significant improvement in their condition, even after one treatment session. That’s why we suggest two to three sessions, depending upon Pain levels and duration.
This depends upon your Pain's duration and intensity. We cannot guarantee complete Pain elimination following your first session; however, many clients experience significant improvement in their condition, even after one treatment session.
If Pain is not caused by acute injury, it may be suitable for HolisticPainTherapy. In some cases, we recommend consulting your doctor before our session to ensure no structural damage exists.
HolisticPainTherapy is purely a pressure point technique, which we call Osteopressure. Similar to trigger point therapy, we apply pressure to specific, predetermined points to encourage muscle and fascia relaxation. We use no oils, and you remain fully clothed throughout your entire session.
Your therapist will adjust pressure intensity for corresponding Osteopressure points in coordination with you. This means you can determine your own comfort limits and preferred intensity levels.
You may experience minor bruising in treated areas, which may be sensitive to touch. This is entirely normal for certain connective tissue types.
During any natural process, temporary setbacks may initially occur before sustainable improvement begins. You may also experience muscle soreness following your session. Should discomfort become excessive or Pain persist after 2-3 days, please contact us as soon as possible to arrange a follow-up session.
Unfortunately, at this time it is not possible to claim session costs from insurance providers.
Your initial session lasts approximately 60-70 minutes, during which we review your medical history and provide treatment. The session concludes with instruction in specific Constriction Point Stretching exercises tailored to your needs, forming your home practice programme. Subsequent sessions typically last between 45 minutes and one hour.
