Tenosynovitis makes it difficult to move a joint as there is a swelling in the affected area, in combination with tenderness, especially in the hand, wrist, foot, or ankle. Sometimes it comes with redness along the length of the tendon.
Even though this condition receives frequent diagnosis, most pain diagnosed in these cases may not represent genuine tenosynovitis. If such inflammation truly existed, a rough 'crackle' in tendons would be audible when moving fingers. Often this pain may show improvement following the first Osteopressure session.
