The Treatment

Medical History

The foundation of successful treatment begins with a comprehensive assessment of your medical history. We dedicate considerable time to this process whilst explaining our treatment approach in detail.

Your therapist will assess your Pain levels, identify precise locations, and determine when and in which circumstances Pain occurs most acutely. Understanding exactly when and where Pain manifests is fundamental to our approach. We record current Pain levels, sometimes document progress photographically, and explain precisely why your Pain may be occurring.

Following your health assessment, we commence treatment using Osteopressure. We use exclusively hands and elbows during treatment for the most natural approach possible, applying pressure to specific AlarmPain points located on bone structures. These points function as biological information switches to the brain.

Your deep-seated Pain may be released through the Osteopressure technique, potentially restoring muscular-fascial balance. Within minutes, your Pain may be significantly reduced or noticeably eased.

Constriction Point Stretching

Constriction Point Stretching comprises specific exercises designed to train your body for a healthy, PainFree future. Through these exercises, muscles are actively and passively stretched, strengthened, and controlled. These movements support the results of the treatment and are integrated by the brain.

Constriction Point Stretching forms an integral component of treatment at HolisticPainTherapy. You will receive guidance and instruction in exercises designed to help maintain your freedom from Pain. We aim to support your healthy, PainFree lifestyle. Your therapist will demonstrate precisely how to perform exercises for home practice, providing printed step-by-step instructions for reference.

Expectations from Constriction Point Stretching

The results of treatment may be maintained long-term, and your outcomes will be significantly influenced by your commitment to regular Constriction Point Stretching practice. It is well-established that regular movement and stretching naturally improve overall wellbeing and comfort levels, which means your dedication to these exercises supports your body's inherent capacity for maintaining the improvements achieved during treatment.

Following your initial stretching sessions, you may experience muscle soreness. This can indicate that your muscles are reactivating. You may also notice minor bruising in treatment areas, and/or may be sensitive to touch which is entirely normal for certain connective tissue types

Follow-up Sessions

HolisticPainTherapy continues supporting you beyond your treatment sessions. Following your first session, we provide photographic documentation showing your progress, such as improved range of motion. We also supply measurements of your Pain levels before and after each session. You can monitor your progress at home and contact us with any questions regarding your Constriction Point Stretching programme. We encourage immediate contact if you experience any changes in Pain levels. As our client, we highly recommend returning for additional sessions whilst we monitor your progress and complete your treatment as required.
